Capcom Vs SNK 2 EO (Questions)

Hiya, noticed this is half-price in GAME and as im getting 'live' soon want to pick up the xobx version.

basically a few quick questions - does it support 60hz?

    if not, is 50hz fullscreen/fullspeed?

can you only play europeans online?

can you talk during the fight?

and finally, is it worth ?17.99?

    thanks!

Going by the international conventions that you labelled your questions 1-5:

    1. Yes

    2. No

    3. No

    4. Yes

    5. If you like fighting games and want to play one online - yes. If you simply want the game on it's own the DC version is better due to having a nice arcade stick.

thanks! so your saying if you turn it on 60hz mode it'll be fullscreen fullspeed, but if i leave the dash at 50hz it'll be bordered/slower

how does this affect online play? are players limited to playing others only at the same refresh rate.

not put major time into the game with 50hz so can't really say. When I accidently left PAL60 off after playing Halo I noticed small borders top and bottom of the screen. However, I've never played online at 50hz so don't know how it works.

i suspect the speed is identical, just bordered in 50hz and fullscreen in 60hz. i was 99% certain before your post Capcom wouldn't bother with a 60hz mode - they didnt even optmize the PS2 version to have "small borders".

but i'll take your word for it and order it now, thanks for all your help!

Capcom have very good PAL conversions nowadays. Their awful early PS2 era meant they received a lot of flack but anything released since April 2002 is usually pretty safe.

Exceptions being Resident Evil 2 and 3 for GC.

Does the GC version have a 60hz option then? i think it was released just before the xbox version.

anyway, ordered the game now for ?17 from GAME. look foward to kicking some ass online.
