I'll be buying it from sainsburys any way, as it's the same price as it is online. So i could allways read what's written on the side of the box.
I first saw it in sainsburys and managed to find the exact same looking one and same company make online, (in the link up top) so i don't think there would be any difference between the one shown online and the one i saw in shop.Last edited by Malc; 16-09-2007, 20:11.

I got this TV now, but with my Xbox 360 core it doesn't have a clear picture, it's like all misty and cloudy effect all around the edges of things. I assume it's because i need an HDMI cable to get a clear picture... and if i want the full best picture i'll need to get an Elite right?
But i should get a clear picture at least, with using some sort of HDMI cable for my 360, but I don't know wich exact one?
My brother had a scart connector from the 360 to the TV wich had lots of coloured heads, more than 3 wich my TV didn't have room for (If you look at the link in the first post of my TV that i got you can see all the connection sockets i have), and that had a HD switch on it by the bit that plugs into the 360. So i'm guessing i need an HDMI cable, wich my TV does have a slot for.
I need to get this fixed before Halo 3 comes so any help is greatly appreciated!
thanks.Last edited by Malc; 18-09-2007, 17:07.

How have you connected it malc ? Component through a supplied VGA convertor as suggested by Boris ? If you have make sure you've flicked the HD switch on the Component cable and selected 720P in the dash !
Edit : Does the core have a HD cable at all, from memory I don't think it does - Get yourself one of these if that's the case http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-...e/Product.html or a cheaper third party one !Last edited by Simmy; 18-09-2007, 17:17.

I tried to plug it in with a standered 360 Scart cable and it displays but not in Hi Def as it is not selectable through the console. I then tried my brothers Scart cable that came with the Premium 360 System. It displayed in TV mode but when I switched it to Hi Def mode (This was done through the switch on the cable) my TV did not register any signal.
The TV has two other slots, a HDMI slot and a VGA slot. Do you think it would be possible to buy any of those two cables and it would work?

The only way to get HD is with Component - VGA or HDMI - you cannot get it through scart !
You need to get the VGA cable linked above and that will sort you out. Your brother obviously has the HD component cable which comes with a scart adaptor, but to work in HD mode with the switch set to HD needs to be plugged in via component !

My brothers cable is his own so i can't use it all the time... Is this cable all i need to plug my 360 directly to my TV? or does it need to go through something else aswell?
EDIT: I still don't understand properly?
Where do those 2 red and white ends go, on the end of the VGA AV cable you provided in the link? i can't think how you can connect 'em all.
So far i understand:
The VGA AV cable. - The VGA end goes into the VGA port on my TV.
And the other end goes where?
EDIT 2: It's okay now, i used this picture to help me!
