Did anyone ever find a DC-PC connector that works with the stick, then? Or are they all joypad only? Using my DC stick on MAME would be rather cool.

AFAIK none of those adapters work with the DC arcade stick (the DC stick is identified as a different device, with Z and C buttons which a pad doesn't have - so only the 4 A,B,X,Y buttons work on the DC stick).

Rantin' James is offering a DC Stick modding service - converting them to work on the Xbox, and replacing the DC VMU slot with the Xbox memory card slot instead (for future Live games).

I believe he's now also got brand new DC sticks which he's selling premodded.

I got a PS1\2 and N64 controller usb adapter from play asia . It was fairly cheap, postage was about 3 euros and it only took about 4 days to get to here (Ireland). I'm pretty sure they have xbox ones too. I've never used lik-sang , since as far as i can see play-asia stock pretty much everything they do .

Edit:Oops somehow I managed to miss the (in the uk) bit. Oh well ,I still recommend Play-asia.

Thanks for confirming that, Yod@. I've heard of ripping the guts out of it as an alternative solution before, but that would stop it working with my DC games, and isn't an option.

There is a way of doing it without losing DC functionality (well, there's still only room for either a VMU or the Xbox memory card slot), but it's quite a bit of extra effort and needs more parts - it works out much more cost-effective just to buy an extra premodded DC stick IMO.

It may cost you, what, an extra ?20 to get a brand new DC stick? And you save on postage costs one way because you won't have to send your existing stick. So effectively only around an extra ?12 or so.

I'm not saying either way is a particularly cheap solution, but if you really want to use a DC stick on an Xbox then at least you have the option.
