Would putting a UK PAL NES game into an American NES console damage the PAL game in any way?

No, it just wont boot up.
Assuming it actually fits in the cart slot as im not sure if they changed the shape of the slot between uk & us. -

I sold a NES game on eBay you see, and the guy claims it wasn't working (which it was the last time I played it). Turns out he has an American NES. I've accepted him to send back the game though, as he didn't know games from other regions don't work.Comment
