N64 beat-em-up

Someone i am working with today is talking of a beat em up she used to play on the N64, where one of the characters went on his head and his feet span around (sounds quite Chun-Li ish). I could only think of Fighters Destiny, but she said it isn't that.

Any ideas?

Is she a non-gamer and is getting confused with Eddie Gordo on Tekken 3 on the PS1?

Killer Instinct? although I don't know which character (if any) had that type of move.

orchid does have a sort of a cartwheel kick which is pretty close and sabrewolf also had a cartwheel type of move

She said his name was definitely Eddie, definitely Tekken, and definitely N64. 2 out of three aint bad.
