I pondered it (the Dixons deal) for a few seconds before it dawned on me that the thick end of ?400 does not represent value for money for a Wii and '1' good game.

I should have bought one yesterday actually. Saw they were in HMV (big poster outside) and they had around 15 when I checked. ?275 with any 3 games, which I think is fair enough. But I stalled, went for some lunch, and by the time I got back they were all gone. They sold a shipment of 20 in 45 mins. Doh.

In Gamestation at lunchtime, one Wii left ... bundle of course ... £699 (came with 10 games and couple of controllers etc), but £699! come on.

We got a whole load in work (Asda) today. Actually we've had them a while, but they chose to make today into some kind of 'release day'. There was a mighty queue! We were selling them for RRP though, none of this price hiking crap.
