the best way to view 360 games is to buy a 720p tv. All the pixels are mapped 1:1 so theres no rescaling. A games native res being 720p which is scaled up to 1080p can only degrade the signal.
Having said that, some ps3/360 games have odd native resolutions which are then upscaled in the console before being outputted. So you will never achieve 1:1 pixel mapping. Ninja Gaiden Sigma uses fake 1080p (960x1080 upscaled), Halo 3 uses fake 720p (dunno the exact numbers - bungie said so themselves). Which explains the slight blurriness (aa notice in H3).
If you are only interested in games and not films, 720p is the way to go.
