Buying a DS Lite from Play-Asia: Customs & Tax Q

I was thinking of getting the Ice Blue DS Lite for my lady but I'm worried I'm gonna get stung for Customs & Tax.

Anyone had any experience with this situation?

Yeah I brought mine from play-asia and had to pay about £30 tax

i bought a ds and 2 games from play asia, got stung for £44 tax ive noticed that if i choose ups as the delievry , which i always do, I always get stung, must remember this and try dhl next time, see if that makes a difference

Thanx for the advice guys. I decided to settle for a girly pink DS Lite for her instead. Got it from Woolies using a 10% off voucher, so it came to 89.99.

Actually I'm mighty tempted to get the Ice Blue one for myself as its such a lovely colour!!

So are u 100% definatley sure that if I order from YA I wont get stung for C & T?
I ask because they state that when you buy that it is automatically upgraded to free express shipping, even though std shipping was free anyway. So does that mean its gonna arrive via another courier which may slap on the C & T?
