    xbox 360 elite controller question

my elite arrived the other day and i don't know if its just my controller but it feels different to the white one. The bumpers are the issue. They don't click and have less movement on them. Its only slight but its enough for them to feel wrong.

Any else have the same issue or is my controller screwy?

Mine feels OK but at first did feel a bit strange because it was new and it wasn't the one I'd been playing on since launch. So it wasn't faulty, just new and therfore now what I was used to.

Yep - I'm thinking EXACTLY the same as you are mate!

I got a Halo LE machine and the bumpers felt just wrong - the left one double clicks, (When I say double clicks I mean that the button clicks once when you press it, and again when you release) and the right one does not, it feels more floaty and like it has more travel on it - yet it works EVERY single time I press it in games.

I got a second Spartan Green Halo Pad off Ebay too - and that one is exactly the same - it feels different, but works perfectly. After a couple of weeks playing I don't even notice it anymore, but they are most certainly different

I have a similar problem with the right bumper button on my second white wireless one. My first wireless one and both wired ones feel much better.

Glad I'm not alone! I've got 3 white wireless pads and they all feel very similar, its just the black one thats odd. I'm getting used to it though.

Must be something they are doing in the manufacturing hey? Either way if it works it's alright I guess

Funny thing is though - my brother got an Elite and his pad feels just like my original White one - guess it must be something to do with batch numbers, and the factory that makes them or something?!
