PC saving setup question

Hey,

i've got a machine (let's call it machine A) with specific settings in XP, now i've just built machine B which also uses XP now i was wondering if there was a program that would allow me to make a backup of my settings and then imprint them onto my new machine.

i know i could just make an image but that would also cause me to get tag along programs that are unwanted.

help is much appreciated.

XP features a "transfer all yer ****e to another XP machine" utility. That's about as much as I know about it sorry, as I've never used it. It's in there somewhere though, and presumably idiot proof.
