Phoenix Wright Jap/US vers identical?

As per title, I know the jap versions feature english text, but is the translation the same as the US version or is anything changed? This applies to all 3. Finished the first and just wanted to make sure us and jap versions are the same before I get stuck into the second and third.

The second definitely doesn't differ from the US one. Haven't got to the latter yet tho..

Nothing changed for 1 and 2 in the US releases, there are rumours the script is being slightly tweaked for the Western release of 3 to iron out mistakes.

I've done three cases in the third one now, and the translation is really good. I've only noticed two extremely minor mistakes so far - an S missing off the end of a word and THE not put in. That's two mistakes in a whole lot of text. It reads really well, so don't be put off buying the Japanese version, there's no all your base are belong to us ****e in it at all, so far anyway.

I've played the japanese version of the first 2 and as stroppy says, there are several minor errors in spelling but that is all.

I've picked up a few errors in the first game, but pretty petty ones at that. Will be moving onto the second then and I guess I can safely pick up either JP or US from the sounds of it.
