Halo 3 Crash

Iv been experiencing problems playing halo 3 online.
i get into the games fine but after about 5 minutes the screen freezes and the game crashes completely and i have to turn off my 360 and reboot it..
anyone any ideas??? there is no change on the ring of light on my 360 btw.

You could try reseting the cache on your hard-drive. That may help.

i hope not....this is brand new console i got about 3 weeks ago after 3 red lights on my old one!!!

Second thoughts - it could be the problem Halo 3 has with some 360's - one of my 360's borks out when trying to load any of the campaign lvls from 4-7, plays fine otherwise....the other 360 plays it perfect every time (thats with the same HD on both machines)

Have you got a mate with another 360 and/or copy of Halo 3? Try your H3 in their machine, see if it does the same (if so it's one of the borked disc runs of Halo 3). If not, try their copy in your machine n' see if it's any better - if your machine treats the friends game the same way as your own - one of two things: either the 360's on its way out, or it doesn't agree with Halo 3 (like one of my 360's).

cheers for the help m8. just ntried h3 in my flatm8s 360 and works fine!!
must be my 360 id say. only got it 3 weeks ago 2 after red light of death on my last one...lucky i took the insurance thing with game!
