Japanese PS2 and PAL DVDs

I have a Japanese PS2 and have become curious as to what DVDs it can be convinced to play, via chipping, a Region X disc or similar.

Obviously, I didn't buy the machine for DVDs, but nevertheless - is there any solution which will get it to play PAL R2 discs? If not, how easy is it to get it to play R1 discs?

pal dvds dont play on it because of the size of the frame buffer is too small or something like that .

r1 dvds can be played via a jap region x or region free disc
