I have just got myself a modded jap wii, yaay
however i can't read jap :P

just wondering if anyone had a link to a manual or anything that will help me navagate the menu's for setting up net connection and adjusting settings, adding firmware etc

don't wanna bugger it straight away

If you look in the Wii FAQ Home and Abroad you should see links to some of the manuals - don't know if they're what you're after (the threads at the top of the ATF Console Section. I remember when the Wii was first released, Nintendo Supplied incomplete manuals and let users download them...

Any advantage getting a modded JPN version over a modded PAL version?

I'm getting one for my daughter for Xmas so am looking at the options now.

I guess a modded UK one will be better, in respect of buying off the store. Easier to buy points etc....

as for having a modded jap, friend of mine was in Hong Kong last week so picked one up for me. but i hear you can have problems with the firmware if you update it off a US game, so wanna make sure i keep it updated off the nintendo server.
