Yeah, checked most of the usual places.
Right now I'll be going for a 750GB at £117, but if I can find a 1tB for not *too* much more, I'd pay the extra. £170 is far too high though.Comment

Terrabyte drives are a bit of premium at the momment.
You can get a 750gig seagate for £104 on scan.co.uk if you're interested?

I'm against simple RAID 0 setups - but probably that's me and those two HDDs dying on me last year within two months, and if one drive in a RAID 0 setup is gone, the whole RAID is gone, so for me it's a no-go unless you need fast drives for video editing and such, but chances are that you'll go for 15K SCSI drives...but I digress.
Go for a 750gb drive, it will help you scheduling back-ups if you are really going to get such a drive full
