    Gamecube Trade In Prices

    Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone has recently traded in their Gamecube and if so where and how much they got for it?

I have a spare Cube kicking around that I'm going to trade in on Friday for some stuff and I wondered if it was better to sell it on here or trade it in?

Any help would be much appreciated

My local Gamestation knocks them out at £30 with a couple of games thrown in if it helps.

Phone Game or whoever and they should tell you rough trade in price over the phone.

      ?30?

Jesus, not much love for the Cube then.

      Cheers for the heads up

Considering the Wii plays the games, the hardware has taken a nosedive except for limited editions.

My local Crack Generator sticks them out for £5-10, and they have heaps. According to CEX's prices, they give £14 credit (or £11 cash) for GCs.

GAME is ?10 Trade-in, not really worth it since you may aswell keep the controller for Wii playing or whatever..

I got offered £8 for mine in gamestation last week, so i decided to keep it, might leave it at my parents or something.

Infact why dont you use it as a sculpture on yah desk at work, helps cheer you up when you look at it maybe.

If i was you I would just keep it and pick 1 game to play with it.

It would have to be supermonkeyball.

Cash convertors? I'd happily pay that for a PAL Cube.

                    Stroller.

Yep, although stock obviously isn't the same at all stores. I paid £4.99 for a silver GC (unboxed) at Cash Generator (I think they're a bit "better" than Cash Convertors, iirc).

I already have a cube, this is a spare one that I picked up cheap from a friend when he was clearing his stuff out.

I paid ?10 for it and 5 games purely as a trade in package.

Thanks for all the information guys, much appreciated.

It's painful to see how cheap these little boxes of joy shift for now.

I paid ?20 for an old style (with AV port) GC + all bits and pieces about 10 months ago from CEX. If you check their web site they show trade in value for fully working boxed consoles. I've just checked it is ?11 cash/?14 for trade-in and the sell them at ?22.

A price rise! But CEX are weird price wise, plenty of bargains but, for instance, they're are selling used Wii's for a stupid amount..
