plz help me with my dilemma about digital out connections?

Here is my problem
I have a pioneer DCS-303 receiver with one digital in port to decode DD5.1 etc. I use An optical out lead from my ps2 into the back of my receiver/dvd player.I have recently bought an xbox but i am unable to experience DD5.1 due to the lack of an appropriate cable unill now as play.com have introduced this lovely lead

My problem is that i don't want to have to keep switching the digital out leads as i know i will end up breaking the port (i have already done this once and had a replacement fitted!) as my consoles and dvd/receiver are in a neat but hard to access AV rack

Is there any kind of device like a scart switcher that would enable me to put two optical out leads into my one?

Thanks alot for the suggestion that the kind of thing im looking for but does anyone know if i can get one cheaper im broke at the minute and im not in the mood for forking out ?25 over a switcher + ?13 for the cable (?38 for the novelty of DD5.1) Thanks alot insideoutboy
