What's the difference between N64 Japan and N64 Asian?

Is it something to do with the power supply?

I'm looking to pick one up at some point, so it would need to be able to be RGB modded as well. Are there any models that I should avoid?

I got a Hong Kong 64 and apparently it can play USA and Jap out of the box. Not sure about RGB, although the picutre does look cracking.

Yeah... I modded my Asian one no problem. I'd tell you the serial number but I killed it a few weeks later and threw it out in a fit of rage
