Do replacement 360s have HDMI now?

I've been putting off sending my curreny 360 console back to MS as it only has a intermittent problem with the video card spazzing out and making me have to restart. Still enough is enough and I will probably send it back to their repair centre this week for them to bin and reissue me with a new console! lol

My question is, do the replacement consoles now come with HDMI as standard? What have peoples recent experiences been?

Whether you get a newly manufactured machine is what would be in doubt. A lot of people have received them, but there are also people who have received their old machine back. It might be reasonable to assume it's on the basis of how hard it is to fix.

However, if you do receive a new machine, I would expect that to be HDMI compatible - I think I'm right in saying all new machines feature HDMI. However, that is not a guarantee that any other hardware revisions will give the new console a longer life.

Last time I had a problem with dirty disc errors on brand new discs. MS collected it and just sent me a brand new console within a week. Weird cos I would have expected them to have just changed the dvd drive.

Dunno what they'll do with this problem. It is so intermittent they might not even be able to recreate it!

This is interesting as mine has occasional graphics problems and needs a restart I have put up with it so far. But if they send an hdmi version out I may contact them
