DDR Supernova / Supernova 2 questions, US and JP releases

Afternoon, you bemani fanboys.

I suppose this would really be better off asked somewhere like bemanistyle but I love you guys more and i'm sure you'll be able to give me an answer.

Right.

What were the differences between the US and the JP versions of Supernova? The JP version seems to have quite a good, and long notechart unlocked from the start. Are there many decent songs to unlock through Stellar Master? Is it worth sticking with or just playing the songs that are already there? Were they unlocked in the US version too?

Basically, do people rate the JP release higher than the US release or are they basically the same?

I'm finding the US Supernova 2 a bit crap and i'm hoping that the JP CS is going to be much better... I want to like it.

Mate, UK/US DDR Supernova is totally crap!
All crappy 80's crap pop music.

DDR really was at it's top when DDR Extreme came out on the Jap PS2.

JPN Supernova has a lot of really good tracks on it, and a nice amount of quality unlocks.

I agree about US Supernova 2, not much there.

If you like traditional DDR tracks, Supernova JPN is the way to go. There's a couple good tracks on Supernova 2, but not nearly as many as JPN Supernova.
