So I got my 360 back from repairs today, boot it up and everything seems great. Stuff works as it should.
But when I whacked in Guitar Hero II, I noticed it was reading that I was hitting on the whammy bar. Ever so slightly, not a lot of wiggling going on, but some. Enough to cause annoyance, and make held notes sound stupidly warbley. All the time.
And I wasn't touching it at all. Basically, it's reading it as being used when it isn't.
That's only the minor niggle. What that means in turn, though, is that I can't tilt the guitar up to activate Star Power - won't do it.
I guess this is supposed to be some clever coding to stop you accidentally activating Star Power when using the whammy.
So yeah, is this a common problem, or is it just weird? Furthermore, reckon I could get a replacement from whoever I bought it from (DVD.co.uk)?
Is it even the controller? Could it be something that's been done in my repair? (This is unlikely though, cos they say they only touched the DVD drive and motherboard).
Cos it kinda makes star power gay to activate - hitting 'back' takes your hand off the picking bit which means you can't activate it right before a solo or anything cool, you have to wait until theres a gap where you're not playing anything.
