Anyone know of any cheap speakers that will work along with a 360 and a Dell TFT monitor. The 3.5mm jack is not compatible with my current PC speakers so looking to pick up a cheap enough set so I can get some audio output for the 360. Help greatly appreciated.

It may be possible to buy an additional adapter from somewhere like Maplins or ebay, that'd allow you to hook up your existing speakers to your 360 vga audio leads. Would probably only set you back a couple of quid or so.
If you can post a pic of the connector that's on your speakers or a note of the model no. / make I'll try to suggest an adapter that'd work.
(I may even have a spare I can send you)Last edited by tom-nook; 13-11-2007, 16:02.

Not at home at the minute (at uni for the week) so photo will have to wait for the time being. Would prefer to pick up a set of cheap speakers for the minute as the sound on the PC one's are a bit on the blink.

I think the one's I have don't have any input whatsoever, just a wire permanently connected from speakers with a 3.5mm jack output. So what I need is a set of speakers with a 3.5mm jack input which I'm sure aren't too hard to pick up- though the PC stores I have visited have been zero help to me because the assistants don't seem to have a clue about the actual speakers! Might try to pick up a cheap pair tomorrow just to fill the gap before I get a LCD TV around Christmas/New Year's.

Thanks for the help tom!

Noticed in the trading boards that you're trying to pick up some ntsc 360 games.. If you get your hands on a copy of NCAA 08 and need a roster file, give me a shout & I can sort you out with one.

You're welcome - just send me a pm whenever you get a copy
As you're no doubt discovering it's pretty much impossible to get hold of most US 360 games over here. I tend to use a combination of ebay or the following stores to get mine:
www.videogamesplus.ca
www.tronixweb.com
Both of these stores are excellent, deliver quickly & are also customs friendly. Ebay is pretty good for getting older games cheaply too (apart from the killer postage rates some sellers charge!!).
Enjoy your 360!
