Anyone know if FIFA08 on PS2 plays ok on a PAL PS3??

Im asking cos i dont have a ps2 only ps3 and i want fifa08 on ps2 to play on my ps3 just need to know if it plays ok with no issues..any help be apreciated.

I would imagine so, becuase its a new and massivley popular game... but if you want to be really sure check the BC list on sony's site, I would look for you but for some reason its not working for me right now, the site is....

I heard the ps2 and pc versions of fifa this year are dirt compared to ps3 360.

Thats right Gossi..i have the PC version but i realy want to be sitting in the living room on a comfortable chair and a larger screen to play this and the PC version is the same as PS2 version and is by far the best version out of the lot..prolly not graphjcally of course but still very nice looking but gameplay cant be touched by other versions thats for sure..may just take the plunge and try it on a PS3 anyways.

The PS3 version is a completely different game to the PS2 one.

The PS3 version is actualy more realistic and thoughtful but requires alot of practicse where as the PS2 version is just an improved version of last years game on the PS2 and so still easier to play than the PS3 one initialy

Both are worth a look more than this years Pro Evo anyway.
