You may not upload animated images - no stan avatar for mono

Hello peeps.

I've been in communication with Spatial about this, and there doesn't seem to be a solution, but I thought I'd just throw this out there in case anyone had any bright ideas.

Basically, whenever I try to change my avatar to an animated gif (be it upload or from a web host like imageshack), I get the message:

You may not upload animated images.

Now, the image is within the file size and pixel width limitations and I've noticed all sorts of people using them - both subscribers, mods and non-subscribers, so why can't I use it?

Could someone else who is an ordinary member try it?

Sorted it for you, there is something a bit screwy with avatars at present, seems size and file size restrictions are lower than the forum says - unless you have teh Super Mod power
