    Choosing printer/scanner all in one.

Canon MP600R Single Ink All-in-One Photo Printer with 6.3 cm Colour LCD Screen.

Is this a good printer/scanner all in one to buy for my Windows Vista professional. I will buy one in 3/4 weeks. (and it is in silver which go with lot of stuff in my bedroom)

Any other options worth a look.

Most Canon cartridges I've seen have transparent reservoirs: i.e. you can see how much is left. Out of principle, at least, this is a good enough reason to choose them. It helps that the Pixma range, in general, is superb anyway.

Epson lie about their cartridge ink levels, and HP have occasionally dire driver support. Truth be told, printers by both manufacturers are usually decent at the very least, but they wouldn't be my first choice.

    Avoid Lexmark.

      Go for it!

I've just replaced my aging Lexmark all in one with a Canon 4500 Pixma and separate Canon scanner.
Don't think I'll touch any other brand again, like Chis says, Canon's are superb!
