    The ridiculous thing is Apple actually ship a special set of headphone with the iPhone which includes a little dongle to pause the music.

    Not ideal but much better than what the Touch gets, which is no way to pause music instantly at all. Bit of an oversight for a music player...

      Yes, that's true. Let's hope they add functionality at a later date or we the users hammer their suggestions form over at apple.com

        well there is one fast way to pause it, just yank the headphones out.
