Best ISP deal for xbox live?

My housemate now has a 360 and wants to get xbox live rigged up for the pair of us to share a connection for both our 360's, can anyone give me an idea please of which company if offering the best deal for a package for the household for both of us to share? Ive been away from the PC scene for so long i dont know what the going rates are on these kind of things and what exact equipment i would need, i assume someone would be offering a deal somewhere including the necessary equpment?

If you sign up to virgin you get a free year on xbox live. Thats should get 1 of you online then just buy a cheap sub from elsewhere. See xbox.com for details.
