RE4 (Gamecube) 60hz problem

Hello,

I wonder if anyone can help me, i'm sure many of you know that when booting up RE4 on the Gamecube it asks to select either 50hz or 60hz, mine has all of a sudden stopped asking me to select, and just goes to the title screen. And I don't know if i'm playing in 50hz or 60hz, anyone know what's going on? I switched off the console etc, unplugged it, it still doesn't ask me to select.

I think if you accidently select 50Hz, it'll stop asking you until you do the button thing again.

Gamecube games often remember what setting you used so it doesn't have to keep asking you, it was probably playing in 60hz if that is what you usually pick.

It happens with many other GC games too, Rogue Leader comes to mind. Presumably the previously selected profile is stored with the game save. I think holding the red button to restore the option is covered in the manual.
