n64 cart question

i just bought blast corps 2nd hand for n64 , and it has all the levels unlocked , thing is i want to erase all this and do it myself but i cant seem to be able to erase the saved data , i do not have a memory card so it must be on the cart , anyone know how to do it ?!?!

not 100% sure but try holding down start while you turn the n64 on.
