Qoob SX GC modchip - how do i access chip menu?

just accuired a nice qoob sx modded gc, and it seems games are all booting in pro scan....holding b down and changing menu blind doesnt work, and i cant seem to acess the chip menu at boot up(again by holding b apparently).

am i missing something, info on net is strangely vague.

It should boot to menu with no disc in.
You must not be using a component lead though if you want to see the menu and I found a wavebird doesn't work for some things so use a wired controller.

am using modded rgb lead by saurion, and using a wired controller.

cube just laods into black screen when no disc in.

is the menu forcing pro scan in menu? because a few games run fine?

I believe that Saur's RGB leads use parts from Component cables, so you might need to attach a different lead.

There is an option in the menu to force display modes in game and also in menu so this could be set but basically it is set to a mode that your cable doesn't support.

plugged composite part of modded rgb in by itself and it revealed the menu, i then turned off f"force 480p" options and all is fine now.
