Downloading iTunes purchased music more than once?

I have downloaded some purchased songs on my computer at work via my iTunes Store account. I would like to redownload them at home (via the same account). Is it possible to do this, without having to pay for them again? I can't seem to see the option of re-downloading the tracks.

I cannot simply copy them off my works iTunes and onto my iPod because I use a PC at work and a Mac at home, so my iPod is formatted only for Mac usage.

Any help would be great, thanks.

Hmmm... I didn't know that about being able to format an iPod just for Mac. There isn't an option to redownload tracks but, after a problem I had, I lost some bought music a while back. I explained the whole thing in a mail to their customer service people and they reactivated the tracks, letting me download them again. If I were you, I'd go through the customer service form and see if they'll do that for you. If you're going through the same account, I can't see why it would be a problem.

You get five "goes" if you will, so up to five machines can have access to the same song from the same account, it tells you that when you unlock it on the other machine.

Just copy the files to a USB key and transfer them

No, you can't redownload any content you have bought from the iTunes Store without speaking to customer services. It's a real flaw in the system, and means the onus is on you to back up paid-for tracks.
