    Best HDMI cable for cheaps

Im not too fond of the quality with the one that came with my 360. Has anyone got any better recommendations and also a cheap quality hdmi switcher that outputs the same quality?

Joytech 3 way switch is a little jem, powers off of usb or adapter. As for the hdmi lead that comes with the 360 - it outputs the full range the 360 can chuck at it (unless its faulty) spending more money on another lead is a waste of dosh you could put to better use............ I have 2 HDMI cables. One is a £50 Cambridge one. The other cost me £7 from (I think) play.com. Both give an identical picture mate. As huxley says, unless you suspect your cable to actually be faulty I'd leave it.

Just an FYI, HDMI cables are digital so no loss of signal from a "cheaper" quality cable. Though I hear that you need to buy a more expensive one for 4 plus meters. Which doesn't sound right...

With digital, I think it's more a case of if there is signal loss, you'll know about it, 'cause there'll be big pink blocks flying around the screen!

Yes on both things! The 360 HDMI cable is fine. No difference at all, IMO, between that one and one I got from Play that RRP'd at ?40

The Joytech HDMI box is a little wonder. No signal loss, powered by USB (works from the 360 btw even in standby mode ), and so small and discrete it's easily invisible. It even has an infra-red extender that's about the size of a 20p coin...just attach it to anything else and it's hidden!

So if this happens send it back as unfit for purpose
