      Just so you all know, I still haven't given up hope on the old girl!

      Here are some pics I took to give you a better idea of the problem.





      The first picture is slightly dark but you can see that the bottom left and right corners are folding/bending inwards.. Also the whole image is fat too high up..

        Or without opening up the back of the TV (don't!!! Hiring a tech is cheaper than the cost of a funeral! ) Since that model is about... 17 years old, I think (?) - then it's likely all of the adjustments will need to be made mechanically.

        This seems like a known issue with this model:

          My 4:3 Trinitron is wonktastic, its fine for tv but older gaming shows up the straight lines like a nightmare, ive made it worse by going into service. Been quoted £50 last week to sort it out, sound fair price?

            Nah tbh mayet.. ill only fix it if it costs me nowt.. Cos it isnt really my telly. It came with the flat im renting.
