    Problems installing Nintendo wifi Dongle

I?m trying to install the Nintendo USB dongle but when it?s installing it suddenly stops and a window comes up saying Internet Connection Sharing Error (6). I click OK and then the next window says Application error. Then on the tool bar instead of the Nintendo wifi symbol there is a network symbol with a warning symbol over it. What the hell is going on? I?ve tried the Nintendo website but it hasn?t proved very helpful. Has this happened to anyone else?

I gave up with it because it was doing the same. In the end I bought a wireless router and just connect through that.
Have you downloaded the latest drivers?

Yah tried the drivers off Nintendo US and Nintendo wifi europe but it still has the same problem. Well if it is never going to work has anyone got any recommendations for a wireless router that will work with Wii, DS and is idiot proof?

I had the same issue with mine when I first set up and I've been racking my brains on how I fixed it all day. I stopped using it as it disrupted my wired network stopping my 360 and other devices from going online until I uninstalled the nintendo dongle and re-set up the network. Got annoying and one time the installation of the dongle caused a critical error where I had to reinstall windows itself. Needless to say I never used it again and havn't been online with my DS since.

I remember having to mess around with the firewall settings but I think that was a different issue. Sorry I can't be of more help.

It's a pain to be honest.
Especially if you have any other networking devices attached (even just a NIC or Bluetooth Dongle)..
Like most, I sold it on, and bought a wireless router (which connects happily with DS, Wii and 360..)
