Recommended Wireless Routers for PS3 and 360?

Any help? My current one either keeps failing to connect on setup or it keeps signing me out on my ps3. Im getting a wireless adaptor for my bro for xmas for his 360, so i need one that shouldn't have any problems with anything.
My current router is a Linksys WRT54GS.

    Thanks for the help.

What revision of the WRT54GS do you have?

Ah bummer, if you had a v1-4 revision then you could have flashed it with tomato firmware (http://www.polarcloud.com/tomato). That would have more than likely solved your issues. I've been using a WRT54GL with said firmware for about a year, and it works better/is more reliable than any other router I have owned. Never needs rebooting or anything, just brilliant.

For those reasons it's my personal recommendation. I'm sure there are better performing routers out there with higher wireless transfer rates etc, but the bottom line is if the firmware is pants then it'll perform as such.

Thanks for the help mate. But i managed to find and alternative, now it all works fine. If anyone else needs help, you can download and find all the instructions here. http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/index.php

Didn't know that support was added for newer revisions in dd-wrt, the site isn't very easy to browse though. Was it really as complex as it makes out? That being needing to use something to kill off vxworks on the router, then using binary ftp etc etc... bloody awkward if you ask me. More to the point, if the router has 16mb RAM, then why the hell is half of it disabled by default?

Anyway, hopefully you've solved your issues.

Yeah it was very easy to follow. there are step by step instructions for whatever version you have. Its working a treat, i have version 24 beta installed. The latest stable version didn't have UPnP.
