PSTwo on LCD - how to do it?

I have plenty of PS2 games I didn't finish and I think I should (FFXII and P3 being the most important). I'm staying abroad right now and don't have a TV, I do have 19" LCD (because of X360). Any way PS2 can be hooked up to it? How much will it cost me? What is the image quality?

    Thanks!

What inputs does your 19" LCD have?

VGA only, that's how I got X360 connected.

Don't take my word for it but I believe you can get component-VGA blocks, like the composite-scart blocks. So it should just be a case of getting a component cable for your PS2 and a component-VGA block.

There was also that Xploder HDTV player thingy. It comes with a disc and component cable and you play the disc first, select the resolution (including VGA modes) and then pop in your disc. Doesn't necessarily work with all games and you'd need to pay extra for it's VGA cable.

            Just thought I'd mention it.

              I narrowed it down to:

              http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-...-2707-4-6.html (because of possitive reviews)

I heard that with cheap vga box the image is even worse than on the TV. I'm not looking for HD for my PS2, just a way to play it on my LCD. The vdigi is 70USD so quite an investment, and I want to be sure it's not money wasted. Did any had any experience with any model mentioned above and can advise me on one of them? My LCD is similar to HP w1907v 19" Wide but with VGA input.

I also noted that vdigi has limited support for 480i. I don't think all the games will support 480p (thinking of Persona 3, FFXII, and Odin Sphere to name a few). Smouty - did you had problems with any PS2 games?

              Thanks for help!
