Xbox Live Disconnects when I try to play a Game

I have a problem, my 360 has started to disconnect me from Xbox Live whenever I load a game.

I am on the dash, chatting to someone as I type this but whenever I try and boot a game (Halo 3/Call of Duty 4) I get disconnected. Then when I go back onto the dash it signs me straight back in.

I have check my membership, still gold and my parental controls are all straight.

Is this anything my end or is Live got some problems at the moment.

At a guess I'd say your ISP may be playing up or perhaps your router has gonea bit crazy. When you run a network test what NAT status does it give you?

The test doesn't give a NAT code, since it doesn't reach that far, fails at XboxLive, I'll try again tomorrow and hopefully it will all be sorted.

My xbox just did that to me too. Fails on Live test.

I just changed games, went to Eternal Sonata and as soon as it started up it said Disconnected from XBox live. I think its kicking people off at the moment when they're changing games as everyone that was on my list that was online is still on now according to xbox.com

Edit: Just did the same. you can sit on the dashboard fine after a couple tries logging on, but as soon you log into a game (since about 30 minutes ago) zap, your out

Mine's playing up a bit too. What's annoying is that I paid for 300 HD and had it d/l at about 60% and recently hasn't shown up under active downloads. Don't wanna have to re-buy it

Ever since the Winter 2007 dash update it can be a little temperamental signing in, however mine has been fine until today and now when I quit to the dash the first three blades are blank with the loading progress circle just spinning, although a notification pops up to say "X friends online." It's really annoying and I have to go to the Video blade to launch a game when it does this.

Now when I exit to the dash it signs me out of Live but leaves my profile signed in and the Marketplace, Xbox Live and Games blades just have the loading progress bar and do not load. Good update Microsoft!

I'm having the same issue, loading circle forever on the Marketplace, Live and Games blades, and going to the video blade to launch games. I can see my friends online, but we can't set up voice chat with each other. Hope it's sorted for the weekend!

Started doing that with me tonight too.

It wouldn't list some peoples profiles properly (some just had ?????? for names) and I Couldn't accept any invites either.

Eventually it stopped doing it on the Marketplace, Live and Games blades but it seemed to take ages.

Then after finishing playing and going back to the Dash, it did it again.

XBL Woes - New to XBL is this normal?

As above only been on for a couple of days and all was fine up until about the last 20 minutes ago. XBL attempts to sign in but then displays the 'can't sign in to messenger' never had this before, is it a regualr occurence/anything to worry about?
