PS3 Surround sound

Im currently running my PS3 through HDMI on my samsung tv but i also have a SONY surround sound system. how can i connect through my surround system and still use HDMI??

Use optical or RCA.

Easiest is to get an optical cable to connect direct from PS3 to surround system.

Option 2 is to connect the red/white RCA leads from the PS3 multiout to your sound system.

Option 3 is to connect your TV to your sound system with red/white RCA.

Options 2 and 3 will only give ProLogic II at best.

You cannot have optical out to your amp AND HDMI audio to you tv at the same time though. Just case you didn't know.

Just connect the optical , at the Sound Settings, set your Sound to Optical. You're done
