Need a UK or multivoltage charger. Woolworths sell USB charge cables too, which will work fine also.

I've got a Jap dark blue DS Lite and I use an official UK DS Lite charger with no problems.

WHY?

A UK charger costs as little as ?4, and can charge at any plug socket. Why restrict yourself to a USB?

I've used a uk ds with japanese charger (in japan of course) and a japanese ds with a uk charger. No problems at all.

Why did you go out of your way to import a japanese DS? I would have thought the chance of being stung by customs and the cost of shipping wouldnt be worth the effort.

the japanese and american versions of the DS lite have way more colours than the UK ds lite variety, also if you shop around you can get it for more cheaper than the UK model and avoid custom charges, that is if you shop at the right place.

Well, personaly i'm sat at computer alot and I can just put the small cable in my PC at home and work and charge it without having to bend down and put in in a socket that is more than likely already full. Its alot smaller as well, so its saves on space etc.
