One of my relatives is after the 'cube version of Animal Crossing for use on a newly-received PAL Wii. Is there a reliable way to get a copy without spending loads on winning an ebay auction?

Sure the AUS version came out about 12 months before the UK version so there are quite a few imported copies here in the UK.

I got the AUS version last year just walked into a shop there and they had 100's of copies for £10 in the players choice colours with the memory cardComment

Can the game be saved onto the Wii's internal memory? Don't have a GC memory card y'see and no-one seams to have AC still with the supplied 59.Comment

You need a memory card i'm afraid, but it is only the 4mb one you need, though it takes up the whole thing. good news is my local gamestation has a bundle for £2-3 each, so I'm sure you can find one no bother.
I'm lucky and have the big ass one though it cost me a packet back in the day. had to get it imported from the states, was popular due to all the sports games over there taking up tons of mem card space.
