    Crucial 1GB DIMM 240-pin DDR2 667 MHz PC2-5300 CL3 1.9V unbuffered non-ECC

I have this 1GB stick in my PC the now and want to buy a second stick now. I dont know much about RAM and paired sticks but your supposed to have the same thing aren't you? So buying a slightly different one would sometimes cause problems?

I just cant find the same one again anywhere, Overclockers have a 2x1GB pair but I dont need want or need 3GB and their 1GB offering is 2x512MB.

And Ebuyer where I bought the RAM only 3 months ago are out of stock as you see!

Any help would be most excellent fella's as I want some more RAMMM

So cheap too! £22 delivered! Where as I paid £30 from ebuyer a few months back with their ridiculously large shipping charges on top!

There's no need to have the exactly same modules on your PC to make it work. Some motherboards don't like if you mix different brands, but I've seen that some motherboards won't work if you stick the same brand and module....fortunately enough, those motherboards tend to be first production runs or with an outdated BIOS.

You'll need two sticks of the same dimensions (2x1gb, for example) to have dual channel, but again you don't need to have the same brand for both sticks...RAM kits are certified for dual channel because they are exactly the same stick (size, number of chips, CAS/RAS latency, FSB and so on), but you can still have dual channel with two different modules.

Cool, good to know mate for future, but I've ordered that exact same stick anyway so no complaints!

I'm so happy I got it for so cheap by the way!
