Modding European (PAL) N64

I received a gamebit screwdriver today, so I finally decided to mod my N64 so I could play Sin & Punishment.

I've opened it up, removed the rail piece and dust covers and put it back together. My european (PAL) games work great on it, but whenever I try Sin & Punishment the game just shows a black screen.

The game is in good condition, so I don't think thats the problem.

Perhaps it is the leads I'm using? (Scart connection) I've had a few cases where some of my NTSC Dreamcast games refused to work with Scart leads.

Any help is much appreciated!

PS. Way off topic, but does anyone know a store where I can buy sleeves for game cases? (for Protection)

The Euro N64 will not play a Japanese or USA game due to region lock - the NTSC machines are compatible with eachother but not the PAL.

There is an all region mod - but you need an NTSC machine (or parts of) in addition to your PAL machine in order to perform it.

Can you not use a passport adaptor?
