Panasonic Q PSU Question?

Ok would i be able to use say a japanese dreamcast power lead to plug into a panasonic q OR does it have to be the one you get with the console??

You can use any lead as long as it's got the figure of eight fitting one end, 2 pins on the other and there is NOT 240V going through it
