    Music Sharing on PS3

    Hey guys, most of my music on my PC is ripped using Itunes. My PS3 is having trouble picking the music up.

    Does the PS3 support Itune's file-type or is there free downloadable software to convert my music back into a format that the PS3 understands?

    I dont need Itunes anymore as i sync my Ipod up to my Macbook which isnt on my network at the moment, so losing the originals isnt a problem!

    Get windows media player to read your music library then in tools there is an option to share over a network, PS3 should pick em up straight away, unless it actually cant read the format they are ripped in.

      Yeah thats what ive done, but because most of the files are in itunes format (.aac i think) the PS3 wont read them. Any suggestions on a program to re-encode them to a file-type that the PS3 can play?
