external hard drive to xbox 360 transfer

First let me apologise for my ignorance on the topic but heres my scenario.

Recently my old pc packed up and i was left with a hardrive with about 20gb of anime. Its an internal hardrive.

My question is: is it possible to transfer the media files via a usb caddy to my xbox 360. I'm really stuck and dont wanna lose all that anime!!

You shouldn't need to transfer them over to your xbox, just tell the xbox to use the usb caddy as a source..

How would you do that, k0pp0? I thought the xbox couldn't handle this, as it's USB1 and has to format the HD first...

I was thinking about connecting a HD cradle with 2 or 4 external HD to the NORMAL xbox via UTP cable, but I don't know if this is possible. (set the xbox to DHCP?)
