Play Asia question

Hi there. I did a search but couldn't see this sort of thing asked anywhere, but please point me in the right direction if I'm wrong.

The Japanese version of Smash Bros Brawl is out on the last Thursday of this month. If I select courier shipping, would it arrive two days later, on the Saturday? Would it be a case of needing to ask for Saturday delivery (like I think DHL does, I'm not sure what UPS or FedEx's Saturday policies are) or are Play Asia likely to send the game out before its actual release day so it would arrive before the weekend anyway?

I've only ever used Play Asia for games that have been out a while, so if anyone who's received day one Japanese stuff from them can help, I'd be very grateful.

They usually receive their shipments on Tuesday so there's a good chance for you to get the game on Saturday.

I wish they could send Sony stuff to Europe, too. I'm in the same situation with DMC4.

I've used fedex via playasia twice, first time i recieved the game pretty much within 24hours of shipping second time i recieved the model i bought in 4 days (two days + weekend).

Both times hit hard by customs charges.

Probably gonna fed ex smash when it comes out as well...and hope it arrives by the weekend

Courier shipment usually takes 3 days from Hong Kong to Italy; if they ship Friday you'll get the goods on Monday, for example.
When making the order, add a note asking to mark the pack value below 20 USD, this should let you avoid custom charges. It worked every time PA remembered to do so, sometimes they forget it, especially if it's a preorder.
