Posting A Gamecube to Europe?

Does anyone have any experience of posting a GC, with controller and psu? Or a rough idea of what it weighs?

I'm terrible at judging weight.

Bare console is 1370g.

Amazon.com lists a retail box as 6 pounds==2.7kg.
