Dualshock3 & Yesasia

Hi guys, I'm a new member here and was wondering if you could help me.

I was looking at getting a DS3. Yesasia have them for about ?30 now, but I was wondering how likely I was to be charged import duty on one?

Yesasia normally pay the tax for you if you use standard shipping but not on Sony stuff. I know I can get them from VG+ without tax but ?45 is a bit much.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything concrete when I searched.

From what others have said Yesasia send to the UK then send it onto you from there so you shouldn't pay tax. I ordered one early last week so i'm hoping it shows up this week tax free n' all that.

I bought mine from YesAsia a few weeks back. Card statement said £31 (was a white one) and that's all I've paid. As reektan says, they ship to the UK, then re-ship to you, so no customs charges at all. Pretty damn good if you ask me.

Oh, and it took exactly a week to arrive. So quite quick too considering!

If you use Quidco I think Y-A offer cashback on games purchases...may help bring the cost down a bit further.

Just a quick update:

I ordered the dualshock off YesAsia. Came after 6 days. No customs charges as of yet, although I'm not expecting any seeing as I picked it up at the post office and they didn't charge me then. The box had a UK label on it too.

Now to try it.
