PSP - Wipeout Pulse Corrupted Data

    Hi,

I have a new PSP 2000 with a reformatted 4gb duo card inside. Every time I load up Wipeout Pulse it tells me that the profile I created is corrupt, even though the Saved Data Menu Screen seems to suggest its ok. If I delete the profile and start over, the same thing happens. Anyone else come across this? (I'm using the v3.80 firmware, btw.)

    Cheers,

    TT.

Are you deleting the profile within the game or deleting save data from the XMB? I haven't come across this personally, I'm on 3.80CFW.

I create the profile in-game. Quit. Start-up again and get the corrupted data message. Then quit and delete the profile from the XMB.

Can you make a new profile and overwrite the old one in the game?

Yes, it did allow me over-write and save, but when I attempted to load, it would tell me it was corrupt again. Odd.

The upshot is I put a different 4GB card in there this evening and the corrupt data issues seem to have gone, suggesting that 'Pulse was being fussy.
