my handheld hello kitty beatmania has suddenly stopped working! since i failed my electronics GCSE i don't think i'll open it, can anyone help me out, or know of anyone who could? many thanks.

difficult to fix unless you know whats wrong. even then parts would be a problem.
unless its something simple like battery contacts or on/off switch problems you'e probably stuck.Comment

right no idea what's wrong, it's been fine and then i got it out of my drawer the other day and it's dead. replaced the batteries with brand new ones fresh out the packet and still nothing! here's a link to it:

As Papercut says, it might be something simple like poor/broken contacts. You might want to carefully take it apart and check for anything obvious, like loose or broken connections to any switches or wires. Its simple technology, so it'll either have a simple solution or is completely dead - it's likely to be either of those extremes.Comment
